2.3 Data from Third Parties

  • Payment data from Stripe: we receive transaction confirmation, partial card details (last four digits, card type), and billing address for fraud prevention. We do not receive or store your full card number or CVV.
  • Analytics data from analytics providers (e.g. Google Analytics, Plausible): aggregated and, where applicable, anonymised usage statistics.
  • Affiliate tracking data: referral identifiers, click data, and conversion data from our affiliate programme platform.

3. Legal Bases for Processing

We process your personal data only where we have a valid legal basis under Article 6 GDPR:

Performance of a contract (Art. 6(1)(b)): to create and manage your account, process purchases, deliver Digital Products, and handle support requests.

Compliance with a legal obligation (Art. 6(1)(c)): to comply with tax law (VAT records, invoicing), anti-money laundering requirements, and requests from competent authorities.

Legitimate interests (Art. 6(1)(f)): to detect and prevent fraud, abuse, and security threats; to maintain and improve the Site; to operate our affiliate programme; to analyse usage patterns (where not overriding your interests or rights).

Consent (Art. 6(1)(a)): for non-essential cookies and analytics where your explicit consent is required. You may withdraw consent at any time via our Cookie Consent Manager.

We do not process your data based on legitimate interests where those interests are overridden by your fundamental rights and freedoms.

4. How We Use Your Data

5. Sharing Your Data

We do not sell your personal data. We share your data only in the following circumstances:

Stripe, Inc. (Payment Processing)

We share your billing information with Stripe to process payments. Stripe is certified to PCI DSS Level 1. Stripe may transfer data to the United States; such transfers are covered by Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs) approved by the European Commission.

Analytics Providers

We may share anonymised usage data with analytics providers such as Google LLC (Google Analytics) or privacy-focused alternatives. Where Google Analytics is used, data may be transferred to the United States under SCCs.

Email Service Providers

We use third-party email delivery services (such as Mailchimp, SendGrid, or equivalent) to send transactional and marketing emails. These providers process your email address on our behalf.

Affiliate Programme Platform

If you participate in our affiliate programme, your referral activity and payout details are processed by our affiliate platform provider.

Legal Requirements

We may disclose your data to competent authorities, courts, or regulators where required by law, or where necessary to protect our legal rights or the rights of third parties.

Business Transfer

In the event of a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, your data may be transferred to the acquiring entity. We will notify you before your data is transferred and becomes subject to a different privacy policy.

6. International Data Transfers

Your personal data may be transferred to and processed in countries outside the European Economic Area (EEA), including the United States (e.g. Stripe, Google). Such transfers are made under:

7. Data Retention

We retain your personal data for as long as necessary to fulfil the purposes for which it was collected, or as required by law:

  • Account data: retained for the duration of your account and for 2 years after closure (for support and legal purposes).
  • Transaction and invoicing data: retained for 10 years to comply with EU tax and accounting obligations.
  • Support correspondence: retained for 3 years.
  • Analytics data: retained in anonymised or aggregated form; identifiable logs retained for up to 13 months.
  • Marketing consent records: retained for 3 years from the date of consent or last interaction.

When data is no longer needed, we securely delete or anonymise it.
