Refund Policy

Effective Date: 23 March 2026

ALL SALES OF DIGITAL PRODUCTS ARE FINAL. BY COMPLETING YOUR PURCHASE AND TICKING THE ACKNOWLEDGEMENT CHECKBOX AT CHECKOUT, YOU EXPRESSLY WAIVE YOUR RIGHT OF WITHDRAWAL UNDER EU CONSUMER RIGHTS DIRECTIVE 2011/83/EU ARTICLE 16(m). PLEASE READ THIS POLICY CAREFULLY BEFORE PURCHASING.

1. Our No-Refund Policy

Modelium Club sells digital goods — three-dimensional design files (“Digital Products”). Because Digital Products are delivered by immediate electronic download and are accessible as soon as payment is confirmed, all sales are final.

We do not offer refunds, returns, or exchanges on Digital Products once the download has been made available, except in the limited circumstances described in Section 3 below.

2. Legal Basis — EU Consumer Rights Directive

Under Article 16(m) of EU Consumer Rights Directive 2011/83/EU, the right of withdrawal does not apply to contracts for the supply of digital content not supplied on a tangible medium where:

the consumer has given prior express consent for the immediate supply of the digital content; and
the consumer has acknowledged that they thereby lose their right of withdrawal.

At checkout, you are presented with a mandatory acknowledgement checkbox with the following wording:

“I agree that Modelium Club begins delivering the digital content immediately upon payment, and I acknowledge that I thereby lose my 14-day right of withdrawal.”

Your purchase cannot proceed without ticking this checkbox. By ticking it, you provide the legally required consent and acknowledgement.

3. Exceptions — When We Will Issue a Refund or Replacement

We will offer a refund or replacement in the following limited circumstances:

Technical defect: the file you received is corrupted, incomplete, or otherwise technically unusable, and we are unable to provide a functional replacement within 5 business days of your report.
Wrong product delivered: you received a file that is materially different from the product described on the product page due to our error.
Duplicate purchase: you accidentally purchased the same product twice within the same session and contact us within 24 hours. We will refund the duplicate charge.

We do NOT consider the following as grounds for refund:

The file is not compatible with your specific 3D printer, slicing software, or material.
You are not satisfied with the print quality or difficulty of printing (print results depend on your hardware and settings).
You changed your mind after accessing the file.
You claim you did not see the acknowledgement checkbox (it is mandatory and cannot be bypassed).

4. How to Request a Refund

If you believe you qualify for a refund under Section 3, please contact us within 14 calendar days of your purchase:

Subject line: “Refund Request — Order #[YOUR ORDER NUMBER]”

Please include in your message:

Your order number and the date of purchase.
The name of the product(s) concerned.
A description of the issue, including screenshots or error messages where applicable.

We aim to respond to all refund requests within 3 business days. If approved, refunds are processed to the original payment method via Stripe and typically appear within 5–10 business days, depending on your bank.

5. Chargebacks

If you initiate a chargeback with your bank or card provider without first contacting us, we reserve the right to:

dispute the chargeback with evidence of the purchase, the acknowledgement checkbox, and the delivered file;
suspend or permanently ban your account;
recover our reasonable costs incurred in disputing the chargeback.

We encourage you to contact us first. We are committed to resolving genuine issues fairly and promptly.

6. Consumer Rights

This Refund Policy does not limit or exclude any statutory rights you may have as a consumer under applicable EU law that cannot be excluded by contract. In particular, you retain rights in relation to goods that are faulty or not as described.
